State Police: Rome teen took two youngsters on joyride in stolen vehicle

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) A Rome teen is in hot water for allegedly stealing a car and taking two young children for a joy ride.

State Police say 16-year-old Felipe Hernandez, stole a vehicle and took a nine-year-old and a 12-year-old for a ride.

Police say he was driving erratically with the two young passengers.

Hernandez is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

He was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and was held at the Oneida County Jail on $100 bail.
