State Police release suspect description in Dari-Del robbery

SCHUYLER, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police in Herkimer have released a description of a man they believe robbed the Dari-Del store at the Schuyler four corners on Sunday.

According to State Police, the suspect is believed to be a white male, mid to late 20's, with a skinny build, short cut brown hair and has a green colored tattoo on his right forearm.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored jeans with dark colored shoes.

Authorities said a white male was seen hanging out near a utility pole on the Newport Road side of the store sometime between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 4.

State Police said Sunday that they were called to the Dari-Del store on a report that a person with a mask had taken money from the cash register.

It was the first of two robberies to occur at the Dari-Del within a 24 hour time span. A Hartwick couple was charged for a robbery that occurred there on Monday, September 5.
