State of the art incubator installed at Faxton-St. Luke's

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in Utica and the Children's Miracle Network are getting ready for the dedication of a new state of the art incubator.

Thanks to one man's generous donation, the new "Womb with a View," as its referred to, arrived at the hospital on Tuesday.

Nurses were on hand to get a first look and learn how to properly use the new machine, which features 80 percent lower sound and an automatic scale function. It can even digitally monitor the increase or decrease of a baby's weight and temperature over an extended period of time.

The incubator will be officially dedicated on Wednesday in honor of three very special women.

It takes place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital.
