Supermarket in Little Falls damaged by vandalism

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - A soon-to-be open Price Chopper in Little Falls was the scene of an act of vandalism, overnight Friday.
The vandalism occurred in the front of the Price Chopper, that has been anticipated to open for months now..
Two windows in the front of the store seemed to be smashed, and there have been no reports on whether or not the Little Falls Police knows who committed the crime.
According to the owner of the store, nothing was stolen, but there was significant damage to the property.
I'm a member of Main Street First, and we were started as an effort to keep a grocery store Downtown and to not go outside of village," said Little Falls resident, Jayne Ritz. "So I'm distressed someone should feel they can break the windows, and it's hard to believe.
"They do not represent the general public."

Despite the damage, the owner of the store is confident that the Price Chopper will still open on its scheduled date.
