Surveillance video posted online leads to charges in City Liquors larceny

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Police Department is once again thanking the internet for assistance that has led to charges - this time for a larceny at an area liquor store.

At roughly 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, officers charged Christina Penn, 28, of Utica with petit larceny. Police said Penn turned herself in at the police station due to surveillance video from the store that was distributed via Facebook and various media outlets.

Penn was allegedly seen in surveillance video from City Liquors, working with two other females to steal a $100 bottle of Tequila.
