Suspects arraigned in credit union robbery

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two men charged in connection with the First Source Federal Credit Union robbery in April were finally arraigned in the Village of Herkimer Court earlier this week.

Jonathan Mills and John Streb, both of Rochester, pleaded not-guilty Tuesday to charges of second degree robbery, and third degree grand larceny.

Authorities said that no weapon was displayed during the incident, but that a note demanding money was passed to the clerk.

According to the Herkimer County District Attorney's Office, the reason it took so long to get the alleged culprits in court locally is that they were being held in connection to a robbery spree across the state, including in Columbia, Genesee and Monroe counties.
