Federal sentencing for suspects in Officer Corr robbery/murder set for Tuesday

By WKTV News

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WKTV) - It's the final chapter in a book that will never really close for the family of murdered New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr.

Three men will be sentenced in Federal Court in Syracuse on Tuesday for Officer Corr's murder. A jury back in November 2010 found Toussaint Davis, Marion Pegese and Robert Ward guilty of murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Officer Corr was shot and killed in February 2006, following the robbery of Lennon's W.B Wilcox Jewelers. A fourth suspect, Walter Richardson, was shot and killed by police in Pennsylvania following a standoff.

Richardson actually pulled the trigger the night Corr was killed.
