Syracuse murder suspect found in Rome is arraigned

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - A man wanted in connection with a murder in Syracuse earlier this week was found in Rome on Friday, has now been arraigned.

Syracuse police say with the help of the Rome Police Department, 21 year old George Colon of Syracuse was found in a residence on E. Bloomfield St. in Rome Friday morning around 10:00.

Police say they found Colon while executing a search warrant looking for evidence in the homicide.

Colon was arraigned on one one count of second degree murder Saturday morning in Syracuse.

Police say Colon and another Syracuse man, 28 year old Alfred Thomas who was arrested earlier this week, shot 23 year old Martin Paulk multiple times Tuesday night around 8:00.
