Taberg man dies following stabbing at American Legion

TABERG, N.Y. (WKTV) - The victim in Saturday night's stabbing at the American Legion has died of his injuries, according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Department.

Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol says that 26-year-old Joseph Andrewski, of Taberg, died at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse as a result of the injuries sustained Saturday night.

A second person is being treated for stab wounds from the incident. There is no information on this individual's condition.

Police would not elaborate on the relationship between the two victims or the nature of the incident.

Police say no other information will be released at this time.
