Take a stroll in the Village of Clinton Friday and Saturday

By WKTV News

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Clinton Shopper's Stroll kicked of Friday morning one morning before the start of Small Business Saturday. It's a retreat from the Black Friday rush. The event lasts for two days.

Vendors are set up along College Street and West Park Row.

Shoppers will find all sorts of special buys.

The nostalgic event brings community members out in full force, taking them away from the hustle and bustle of the mall and into the village to buy local.

Carol Shaw owns Shaw's Maple Products.

She says, " Some stores buy our product to stay local and it's just good for the community. It's a beautiful historic town here and it's just a fun day."

The festivities continue into Saturday.
