GLENFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Lewis County teen is in trouble with the law following an incident at BOCES.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Justin Morhan, 16, of Port Leyden has been charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

Authorities say Morhan was attending school at BOCES in Glenfield just before Christmas vacation when he turned a breaker off in a breaker box that ran the refrigerator and freezer, causing all the food to spoil inside them.

Morhan was arraigned in the Village of Lowville Court and remanded to Lewis County Jail on $250 bail.
