Teen faces felony charge after alleged bomb threat

(WKTV) - A 13-year-old Lebanon boy was arrested Saturday on accusations he made a bomb threat at the Sherburne-Earlville school, officials say.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Department, the teen made a written threat referring to blowing up the school. He was charged with a Class E felony of falsely reporting an incident in the second degree.

Because of his age, his name is not being released by officials. He was issued a juvenile appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Chenango County Family Court at a later date.
