Tenney appears on Fox Business about companies leaving U.S.

(WKTV) - Claudia Tenney appeared on Fox Business on Tuesday, speaking to Neil Cavuto about major companies leaving the U.S. because of high prices.

Tenney, a local business owner, spoke about ConMed losing business and jobs to Mexico when the medical device tax was instituted.

Tenney says we have huge American companies who have cash reserves overseas, and that shouldn't be the case.

"We should be reducing the tax rates and encouraging American businesses to bring those cash rates and reinvest in America," Tenney said on the show. "And politicians don't get it. They're scaring people away because they're not business owners."

Tenney's primary against incumbent U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna is June 24. Because Tenney's name will not appear on any other line and no Democrat has announced, the primary could decide the race.
