Three NYC men arrested in Whitesboro on prescription drug charges
WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Police Department has announced the arrest of 3 men for attempting to sell forged drug prescriptions, Wednesday.
Dennis E. Nichols, 54, Brinel S. Curry, 37, and Curtis J. Clements, all from the Bronx, were taken into custody at the Colonial Pharmacy on Main Street in the Village, Tuesday afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m., after attempting to leave the store.
All 3 men are being charged with 2 counts of possession of a forged instrument and 1 count of possession of a controlled substance, and were arraigned in New York Mills before being sent to Oneida County Jail.
Curry is currently being held on $15,000 cash bond, while Clements and Nichols are currently being held without bail.
In addition to this arrest, Clements is also wanted in Pennsylvania on other charges, and will be extradited at a later date.
Investigations will continue as the men are also possibly linked to several other recent incidents going all the way back to New York City.
The three suspects are due back in court on September 11th.
