Three accused of stealing from Town of Norwich business

(WKTV) - Two Utica residents a Town of Cold Brook resident face several charges after an investigation into larceny complaints at a Town of Norwich business.

Katherine M. Daniels, 38, of Utica is charged with two counts of felony grand larceny in the third degree, one count of felony grand larceny in the fourth degree, two counts of misdemeanor conspiracy in the fifth degree and one count of conspiracy in the sixth degree.

Quiana N. Thomas, 31, of Utica, is charged with two counts of grand larceny in the third degree, one count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, three counts of burglary in the third degree, two counts of conspiracy in the fifth degree and one count of conspiracy in the sixth degree.

Courtney A. Hughes, 24, of Cold Brook, is charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, one count of grand larceny in the third degree, one count of conspiracy in the fifth degree, one count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, and one count of conspiracy in the sixth degree.

According to officials, Thomas and Daniels entered a business on three separate days and allegedly stole numerous items, including Blu Ray DVDs and several high-dollar items. On two of the days, Hughes allegedly accompanied the two.

All three were arrested on Jan. 24. Hughes and Thomas were sent to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash bail and Daniels was sent to the facility on $10,000 cash bail.
