Alfred H. Wardle, 80, of Trenton was driving west on Fish Hatchery Rd, when he failed to stop at the stop sign for Rt. 365, causing him to collide with a vehicle traveling southbound on the cross road.

Justin D. Torres, 34, also of Trenton, was driving with his 10-year old son during the accident, and were treated for minor injuries on the scene.

Wardle was treated at the scene for a head injury by members of the Barneveld Fire Department/Prospect Ambulance, and transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica for further care.
