Three returned to Otsego County on robbery charge

(WKTV) - A father, mother and son who have been held in the Daytona County Correctional Facility in Daytona Beach, Fla., are now back in Otsego County on charges in connection to an armed robbery of the Pit Stop convenience store in the Town of Hartwick, the Otsego County Sheriff's Office said.

Christine Jill Lord, 43, Timothy Scott Lord, 45, and Kaine Willow Lord, 21, all of Deltona, Fla., are charged with robbery in the first degree, criminal use of a firearm in the first degree, grand larceny in the third degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

According to officials, an arrest warrant for the Lords in connection with a Dec. 23 robbery at the Pit Stop Convenience store on State Route 28 in Hartwick, was served on May 8 and the three were held in Volusia County Jail pending their return to New York. On May 13, sheriff's office investigators obtained a search warrant for the Lords' former resident in Hartwick. Authorities seized evidence relating to the robbery and about a quarter ounce of marijuana at the Hartwick home.

On Wednesday, Otsego County Sheriff's Office investigators went to Florida and returned them to New York. They were arraigned Wednesday evening in Hartwick Town Court and sent to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail.

If convicted, they face up to 25 years in prison.
