Erin Hamlin arrives Thursday night

(WKTV) - Olympic medalist Erin Hamlin arrives home Thursday evening and the public is invited to line her route as she makes her way from Syracuse to Remsen.

She is expected to arrive at Hancock Airport in Syracuse at 4:40 p.m. Thursday.

A welcome home parade is expected to begin starting in Verona at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 31 and Main Street.

The welcome ride is expected to arrive in Rome around 6 p.m. and will travel along East Dominick Street from Bouck Street to McAvoy Avenue; Rome, near the Wright Avenue ramp; Floyd, along Old Floyd Road from Koenig Road to Route 365; arrivial in Stittville, along Route 365 from Mill Street to Route 291, is expected around 6:30 p.m.; Holland Patent, along Route 365 from Park Avenue to Elm Street; Barneveld, along Boon Street and Old Remsen Road from Mappa Avenue to Route 365 and a parade in Remsen along Main Street from Steuben Street to the school is expected around 7 p.m. In the Remsen Central School gymnasium, there will be a presentation around 8 p.m.

Parade-goers are encouraged to bring signs, cowbells and horns to cheer for Hamlin.
