By WKTV News

(WKTV) - The tornado watch issued for much of Central New York has been canceled.

Delaware and Otsego Counties remain the only two in the area that are still under the tornado watch.  There is also a wind advisory until 2 p.m

A brief period of heavy rain will also acompany these thunderstorms. This may lead to ponding of water in low-lying areas, the National Weather Service said.

According to the National Weather Service, winds will peak around midday through early afternoon and will decrease by early evening. Isolated power outages, minor property damage and downed tree limbs are possible. High-profile vehicles are urged to use extra caution.
