(WKTV) - A traffic stop in the Town of Kirkland early Saturday led to several charges for a 31-year-old man, the Town of Kirkland police said..
Christopher L. Hall is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and violation charges of unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substances by ultimate users outside of the original container, as well as several other vehicle and traffic violations.
According to authorities, around 12:18 a.m. Saturday, Hall was stopped by police on State Route 12B, just north of Harding Road. Officers say Hall was driving with a suspended drivers license, and had an active arrest warrant from the City of Oneida Police Department.
While he was being detained under the warrant, authorities say they found a large amount of cocaine, several hydrocodone pills, marijuana scales, packaging materials and cash.
Hall was sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
