(WKTV) - Two Herkimer County men were charged after they allegedly stabbed each other during a fight on North Main Street in Herkimer on Wednesday, Herkimer police said.
Beau Raymonda, 33, of Herkimer, is charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Bradley Cushman, 29, of Mohawk, is charged with assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
According to authorities, Raymonda and Cushman got into a fight around 3 a.m. Wednesday over stolen prescription medication. Each participant claims the other stabbed him. Police recovered a knife and a pair of scissors at the scene.
Raymonda was sent to the Herkimer county Correctional Facility in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond. Cushman was sent to Herkimer County Correctional Facility without bail.
