Two Rome women arrested on sex charges

(WKTV) - Two Rome women have been arrested on sex charges, the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center said.

Jamie Thompson, 37, of Rome has been arrested on a charge of rape in the second degree. Jamie Jarvis, 36, of Rome was arrested on a charge of criminal sex act in the second.

According to officials, the two allegedly engaged in various sex acts on one occasion with a child under the age of 15.

Both subjects were arrested in the City of Rome and turned over to Rome Police Department pending arraignment in Rome City Court.

New York State Police Investigator Todd Grant, who is assigned to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, conducted the investigation.
