(WKTV) - Two Little Falls residents face several charges after police say they found a marijuana grow operation in their bedroom, Little Falls police said.
Keil Anderson Sr., 25, is charged with growing cannabis, criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a firearm, endangering the welfare of a child, assault in the third degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
Chelsea Farquahar, 19, was charged with growing cannabis, criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to officials, around midnight March 13, Little Falls police responded to a call of a domestic dispute at an apartment on Whited Street.
Upon arriving, officers found a woman outside with her father. She had minor injuries, allegedly from being struck by her boyfriend and a broken cell phone. When officers entered the home, they found a man holding a 9-month-old baby. Officers also say they found a loaded shotgun with the safety off just inside the door and the man had five shotgun shells in his pocket. According to the Little Falls police, there was also marijuana spread out throughout the apartment and an elaborate grow operation in the bedroom.
Police recovered several items from the apartment, including a duffle bag containing more than 400 shotgun shells, three long guns, including a cut-off assault rifle, a large quantity of .22 bullets, 21 marijuana plants and a quantity of marijuana buds.
Officers were told there was more than $1,400 worth of equipment in the grow operation.
