Two charged after shots-fired incident in Yorkville

(WKTV) - Two people are now charged after authorities responded to a report of shots fired late Monday near Inman Place in Yorkville, officials said.

Arthur Jodin, 24, of Inman Place, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and possession of marijuana. Rathmony N. Seng, 23, of Jewit Place in Utica, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third and four degrees, reckless endangerment in the first degree, possession of marijuana and criminal mischief.

Yorkville police said a gun was fired into the street, but no one was shot. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation, but police say it was not a domestic dispute.

Jodin and Seng were sent to Oneida County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
