Two charged for growing marijuana, endangering child in Frankfort
FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two people have been charged after Town of Frankfort Police say they were growing marijuana. According to Town of Frankfort Police, Krista A. Ollerenshaw, 21, and Clifton H. Franklin III, 24 were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The arrests come after a search warrant was executed at their McGowan Road residence where authorities found five marijuana plants and a plethora of growing equipment that leads them to believe it was a "extensive operation." There may be other people involved, according to police. An 18-week-old child was also living in the home, leading to the child endangerment charge. Ollerenshaw and Franklin were processed at the Town of Frankfort Police Department and released on appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Frankfort Court at a later date.
