Two injured in Frankfort domestic dispute

(WKTV) - Two people were injured Sunday evening after a domestic dispute in the Town of Frankfort, New York State Police said.

According to officials, State Police in Herkimer responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Joslin Hill Road around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday.

Upon arrival, troopers were met by 55-year-old Gail White, who was suffering from severe head trauma. Troopers searched the residence and found John F. White, 56, suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the face.

Gail White was transported to St. Luke's Hospital and is listed in serious condition. John White was transported to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

The investigation is continuing.
