VERONA, N.Y.(WKTV) The Oneida County Sheriff's Department responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 46 and Route 31 in the Town of Verona.

It happened around 10:30 Tuesday night.

Deputies say Michelle Hodges, 28, of Auburn, was traveling south on Route 46. According to deputies she turned right onto 31, then tried to make a U-Turn to head east on Route 31.

They say Hodge's vehicle was then struck by a car driven by Vito Ceraulo, 22, of Rome.

Ceraulo was not injured, but Hodges was trushed to Oneida City Hospital for a head laceration.

Ceraulo's passenger, Jacob Kelly, 22, of Sherrill was also rushed to Oneida City Hospital for further treatment for chest and leg pain.
