Two killed in Chenango County crash

OXFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police are investigating an accident that killed two people Sunday morning in the Chenango County Town of Oxford.

The accident happened shortly before 2am Sunday morning on Route 35. Two vehicles were involved.

State Police say the driver of a Ford Focus crossed over the center line and into the path of a dodge caravan. The vehicles collided head on.

Both drivers were killed.

The driver of the caravan has been identified as David Clark, 48, of Oxford.

The driver of the Ford Focus has not been identified.

All together there were seven passengers in both vehicles. They were all taken to local hospitals for treatment. No word on how serious those injuries are at this time.

State Police continue to investigate the accident.
