Two new businesses under one roof open in Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Business is booming in Little Falls as the Imagineering Drum & Guitar Shop and Paca Gardens celebrated their grand opening on Friday.

While one is a music store and the other an alpaca shop, both stores can be found at 37 West Main Street in the City of Little Falls, with a ribbon cutting marking the opening Friday morning.

"We've had kind of a crossover, even though it's such extreme opposites, it interacts real well," said Jeffrey Vangorder, of Imagineering Drum and Guitar Shop. "People enjoy it."

Both shops are locally owned, which the owners think puts them a step above the competition.

"I think it's important because you get better service," Vangorder said. "The large chain store you go in and people don't greet you. That's what we're here for."

Andy McEvoy and his family began raising alpaca at their farm just a couple miles outside of Little Falls.

"We have 18 animals and we sheer them once a year," McEvoy said. "And we get products back."
