Two suffer non-life threatening injuries in reported West Utica shootings

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police say one person was brought to a local hospital with gunshot wounds and a second located near an area where shots were reportedly fired in West Utica.

Utica Police officers were called to the area of Wager Street at Sunset Ave around 11:30 Thursday night, finding evidence that gunfire had occurred. Shortly after that, it was discovered that a victim was transported to a local hospital and a second victim was located in the area where the gunfire occurred.

Police say both individuals suffered non-life threatening wounds and the investigation is continuing.
