Davis Motel death now a homicide investigation, police looking for victim's car

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police have declared the death at the Davis Motel a homicide, officers are telling NEWSChannel 2. Police received a call Thursday morning for an "unattended death" at the property.

Inside the motel, police found Linda Turner, 68, who owns the motel and resides on the property.

Her car is also missing from the property, according to police Police are looking for the public's help in locating that vehicle. They describe the vehicle as a 2001 Black Toyota Solara Convertible.

The license plates on the vehicle are New York - ODW916.

An autopsy has been completed, but police are not releasing the results as to not jeopardize the investigation.
