UPD investigate shooting at high school graduation party

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police investigated reports of shots fired Saturday evening in the Cornhill section of Utica following an alleged dispute at a high school graduation party.

Officers responded to the area of West and Arthur Streets, where a person was allegedly shot in the calf at the party.

The victim was identified as Robert "Gunz" Lindo, who was uncooperative with police. His injury appeared to be non-life threatening.

Numerous spent shells casings from two different firearms were located in the area and a bullet hole was found in a building by the Johnson Park Center.

The investigation is continuing and no arrests have been made at this time.
