UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Farmers Market kicked off for the season on Monday, and on sale was a wide variety of produce that included fresh kale, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, eggs, and more.
The unique vendors are on the main draws that brings patrons out to the market, but one vendor says it's the diversity of the people and the area that brings him to Utica's Market.
"I like this neighborhood," said Lee Edelblute of Hill of Beans Organic Farm. "Very interesting neighborhood down here, a lot of different ethnic groups. I like it. Very pretty little park."
The Farmer's Market runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each Wednesday through Autumn at Chancellor Park in Utica.
