Utica Mayor's 14th Quality of Life sweep takes him along Boilermaker route

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - It was all hands on deck on Thursday as volunteers as well as city of Utica employees worked to spruce up the city, particularly the path that runners will pass through on Boilermaker Sunday.

It was Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri's 14th "Quality of Life" sweeps and on Thursday, there was no job too big or too small for the workers involved.

"We've got company coming in our city, thousands of people coming and we want to showcase exactly what a great city we have," Mayor Palmieri said.
