Utica National benefits CMN with annual Duck Days

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - It was a day at the races for the staff at Utica National, and they didn't have to go far.

It was Duck Days on Tuesday at the creek right next to the New Hartford building. It's an annual event that typically raises $3,000 to $4,000 for the Children's Miracle Network, and gives the staff a chance to enjoy sunshine during lunch.

While prizes were given to the fastest rubber ducks, Utica National says everyone wins.

"Many of us have children in our lives in some capacity," said Steve Kukowski of Utica National. "Sons and daughters, nieces and nephews and so forth. Family and friends and to provide medical services to children in need at this level is something we can all feel good about."

The guest of honor was Austynn Wilson of Utica, the 2014 Miracle Child.
