Utica Police need help indentifying people who pulled child into car

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV - Utica Police have released surveillance video from a store that shows a sidewalk outside of Oneida Square.

In the video, you can see several people gathered on the sidewalk. At one time, two women seem to be arguing.

One woman walks into the store and exits with a male. The two then walk down the road and enter their parked car.

As the video shows, a child then wanders over to the car and seems to speak with the male in the back seat. The male pulls the child into the car before the child can escape and runs away.

The car then follows the boy down Plant Street.

Authorities say the boy is eight years old.

Utica Police have no insight into the situation and would like to speak with those involved. If anyone knows the identities of any of the people involved, they are asked to call Utica Police at 315) 223-3510.
