Utica Zoo holds annual Easter Eggstravaganza

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Here in Utica, the Easter festivities began, Saturday.
Plenty of kids filled the Utica Zoo on Easter eve to celebrate.
It was the Zoo's Annual 'Egg-stravaganza' and was quite the hit for kids who played games, took pictures with the easter bunny and colored.
They also had the chance to visit the animals.
"We broke it down to children between 0-4 go by themselves, then 5-8, 9 through 12 so no kids feel they are being trampled by larger kids," said Melissa Ellis of the Utica Zoo. "They can all find what they need to find that way."
The Eggstravaganza marked the first event of the Zoo's 100th year anniversary.
