Utica Gunshot victim expected to survive
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV)
- Utica Police were called to 1602 Howard Avenue around 5:30 Sunday morning for the report of a gunshot wound victim.
Responding officers say the victim, a 20-year-old male, had been shot in the buttocks and the bullet exited out of his upper thigh.
Police say that victim told the officers he was shot at a house party in the 1500 block of Dudley Avenue in the City of Utica.
Investigators say it was later discovered that the shooting took place at 1520 Dudley Avenue.
The male victim was treated at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Police say his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
