Utica man accused of cutting another man with machete over bathroom dispute

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man has been charged after police say he cut another man with a machete over a dispute about a shared bathroom.
Around 10:49 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, Utica Police responded to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in regards to a reported cutting.
Gary Bryan, 29, of Utica was charged with second-degree assault.
Police said that while in an apartment building in the 500 block of Columbia Street, it is alleged that Bryan got into an argument with another tenant about a shared bathroom. Bryan is accused of pulling out a machete and cutting a male victim on his wrist and face.
