Utica man accused of stealing camera from home

(WKTV) - A Utica man faces a burglary charge after he allegedly stole a camera from a home in the Town of New Hartford, New Hartford police said.

Paul V. Lewis, 31, of Utica, is charged with burglary and petit larceny.

According to authorities, police responded to a burglary complaint on Willis Drive in the Town of New Hartford. Lewis, who is related to the homeowner, is accused of stealing a Canon camera and selling it at a pawn shop. The camera was recovered by New Hartford police.

Lewis was sent to Oneida County jail on $20,000 bail.
