Utica man accused of stealing money from car dealership

(WKTV) - A Utica man faces charges after he allegedly stole money from the office area of a local car dealership, the Whitestown Police Department said.

Osman Makic, 27, of Rudolph Place in Utica, is charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.

According to officials, over a four-month period, more than $2,500 was stolen from the office area of Cooper Kia, 5056 Commercial Drive, in the Town of Whitestown. Makic was employed by a cleaning company that served the dealership at the time.

He will appear in Whitestown Court on Monday.
