Utica man accused of vandalizing Union Station

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - A Utica man is accused of vandalizing Union Station, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office said.

Jacob T. Mosher, 22, is charged with making graffiti.

According to authorities, in April, sheriff deputies responded to Union Station for a report of vandalism. Deputies found paint graffiti on interior walls, doors, furniture and an exterior trash can. Authorities were able to locate an image of the suspect on a security camera and released the footage to the media, Utica police and sheriff's deputies. With the help of citizens, the man was identified.

The graffiti was removed to avoid permanent damage to the structure.

Mosher was sent to Oneida County Jail.
