Utica man arrested for stealing copper piping from a home

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Police has announced the arrest of a man, Saturday, following a burglary on Thursday.
According to Police, at approximately 2:23 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to a burglary in progress at a residence in the 200 block of Pellettieri Avenue, Utica.
The suspect in the case was stopped on the 500 block of Nichols Street, and later identified as Francisco Reyes, 37, of Addington Place, Utica. 
He was found to be in possession of the stolen copper piping.
Reyes allegedly entered a home unlawfully on the 200 block of Pellettieri Avenue and stole copper piping from the home.
He has been charged with burglary in the 2nd degree, and petit larceny.

He will answer the charges at a later date.
