Utica man charged with hit and run

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Police have arrested a man after a hit and run on Hamilton and Columbia Street, Sunday.
According to Police, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Brandon Teuscher, 30, of Utica, rear ended a taxi cab that was stopped at a stop sign, and fled the scene.
Police stopped Teuscher on Varick St., when they spotted his vehicle with front end damage and the air bags deployed.
He was found to be intoxicated and in possession of Hydrocodone, with an open bottle of Whiskey in his car.

He has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI, refusal to take a breath test, and several additional traffic violations.
