(WKTV) - A 21-year-old Utica man is charged with two drug-related felonies in connection after a search warrant was served Monday, Utica Police said.
Derrell Henderson, 21, of Oneida Street in Utica, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, both felonies. He is also charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. He is also facing a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to police, the UPD Metro unit and the U.S. Marshal's Service executed a search warrant Monday in the 1500 block of Oneida Street. The warrant was part of an investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics. During the search, investigators found cocaine, heroin and marijuana, police say.
