Utica man faces several felony drug charges

(WKTV) - A Utica man faces felony drug charges after police say he threw cocaine and marijuana out of a bedroom window.

Anthony Ellis, 30, of Utica is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a Class D felony, a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

According to Utica Police, Ellis, who is currently under the supervision of New York State parole, is alleged to have thrown cocaine and marijuana out of a bedroom window upon seeing parole officers to come to his residence in the 900 block of Hillcrest.
