Utica man on parole charged with sexual misconduct

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - An 18 year old has been charged with sexual misconduct after an alleged incident in Utica last month.

According to Dean Obernesser of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, Travis Fraleigh, 18, has been charged following an investigation into an alleged incident that took place in the City of Utica in the month of March.

Authorities say Fraleigh was charged with sexual misconduct.

Fraleigh was on Post Release Supervision with New York State Parole at the time of his arrest and is currently being held in the Oneida County Correctional Facility on a Parole Violation, Obernesser stated. Fraleigh will answer the Sexual Misconduct charge in Utica City Court.

Investigator Bolton was assisted in the investigation by New York State Police Investigators out of the Herkimer barracks.

Further details on the incident were not released by authorities.
