Utica police make arrest in gas station robberies

(WKTV) - A Utica man has been accused of two convenience store robberies that happened in January, Utica police said.

Lamar Feddiman, 27, of Oak Street, is charged with two counts of robbery in the first degree.

According to officials, the Fastrac on Oriskany Street was robbed around 12:50 a.m. on Jan. 19. During that robbery, a man entered the store and threatened the clerk with a handgun before fleeing with money. Around 10 p.m. on Jan. 19, the same man entered the Hess gas station on North Genesee Street and again threatened the clerk with a gun before fleeing with money.

The criminal investigation division conducted an exhaustive investigation into the robberies. Feddiman was charged Tuesday.
