Utica teen charged after search warrant executed

(WKTV) - A Utica teen faces charges after a two-month investigation by New York State Police.

Armin Sisic, 18, of the 900 block of Eagle Street, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

According to authorities, a search warrant was served at a home on Eagle Street on Thursday. During the search, authorities say more than 250 illegally possessed prescription narcotic pills, with a street value of more than $2,500, were seized, as well 64 baggies of marijuana that were individually packaged for sale and more than $900. Authorities also seized a 2008 Volkswagen GTI.

Sisic was turned over to the Utica Police Department while awaiting arraignment. Further charges are pending and additional arrests are expected.

State police members from the Gun Investigation Unit and Community Narcotics Team were assisted by Troop D troopers, the State Police K-9 Unit, Utica police and the U.S. Marshals Service.
