Utica teens accused of robbing man at gunpoint

(WKTV) - Two Utica teens face a robbery charge after they allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in February, Utica police say.

Robquan Gilmore, 17, of Aiken Street, and Tupac Hardee, 19, of Nelson Street, are charged with felony robbery in the first degree.

According to officials, around midnight on Feb. 24, Utica police responded to State Street and Mandeville Street for a report of a robbery. A man said he was walking when a young man approached him. The two made conversation as they walked.

Two other men appeared and allegedly pointed a silver handgun at the victim, demanding his belongings. Police say the man had personal property and money stolen from him.

The Criminal Investigation Division conducted an extensive investigation.
